Grass turf is increasingly moving beyond traditional use in garden design, thanks in large part to the development of new technology such as soilless turf, which allows grass to be grown on large, flexible sheets of moisture-retentive felt. Examples of this product include Lindum Grassfelt TM and Terram TM.
Soilless turf has been used to create living sculptures and features, as well as to cover steep slopes where traditional grass cover has been difficult to establish.
